This is about to be a really long post...with lots of pictures!

My designs were featured last Friday in the Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest, a wonderful yearly event hosted by Leslie Pilling of Presence II Productions.  The festival is an amazing collaboration of local business, musicians, and artists.  For more information, check out their website! http://michiganfashfest.com/

So here are pictures from the show!  There are links under some of the photos to posts with additional information about the garments.

Michigan Style!

Oh my gosh I have so much to write about!
Last month I had the honor of being featured in Styleline Magazine:

I was also part of the NOiR fashion show at the University of Michigan.  The event supported Food Gatherers, an Ann Arbor organization that works to alleviate hunger in the community.

Swept Away

This has been such a dramatic month!
I experienced my very first hurricane and then moved back to Michigan, all within a week.

I sketched the idea for this dress in NYC while I was hiding from Hurricane Sandy in my friend Fiona's apartment.

I bought this dress for $10 at thrift store and gave it a makeover!

This is the first dress I've made in New York! I don't have a machine here yet so it was all done by hand.

Today was the second day of my second internship in New York City.  I'm still at DVF, but I am now also working at Found Future showroom, which carries all eco-friendly designs.  It is incredibly exciting and inspiring to be around so much beautiful clothing and accessories, especially because it is all made from sustainable materials!
