The Barnacle Dress in Tokyo!

What in the world?  One of my dresses made it to Asia!
Esperanza Spalding performed in the Barnacle Dress in Tokyo, Japan this week!



This Titanic-inspired dress is made from kozo fiber and hand-dyed raw silk.

Today was the second day of my second internship in New York City.  I'm still at DVF, but I am now also working at Found Future showroom, which carries all eco-friendly designs.  It is incredibly exciting and inspiring to be around so much beautiful clothing and accessories, especially because it is all made from sustainable materials!

Hello Holland!

In the spirit of the Olympics, I am so excited to announce that one of my dresses has gone international!

Esperanza Spalding performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Holland this month.
